On Monday I volunteered in my daughters classroom, helping second graders memorize their poems for the annual speech meet. One of the students read the following poem, author unknown:
“Let others cheer the winning man, There's one I hold worth while; 'Tis he who does the best he can, Then loses with a smile. Beaten he is, but not to stay Down with the rank and file, That man will win some other day, who loses with a smile.”
Congratulations Representative Maggiore on your re-election. It’s time to end the divisiveness in our amazing community. Together we need to work to help those in North Hampton that are struggling under this pandemic, especially those not often talked about. I look forward to your leadership in this and gladly will help however I can.
To those that supported my campaign every step of the way and the 1,620 North Hampton residents who voted for me: I may not have won the title but promise you I will always fight for you with integrity, honesty, accessibility and accountability. Community First!
